I have come to realize......

This testimony is from a friend. I love it is impacting and it lets you know that no matter what goes on in your life, God is still with you, be blessed.

I've come to realize that everything that has transpired in my life has prepared me, for every trial, and blessing. Hey there Friend!... My name is Nicholas Cruz a.k.a "Nick", I'm 20 years old, and I was born, and raised in New York. I lived with my Mother for my first 15 years of life, and have seen and heard many things that have come my way or crossed my ears. I'm not the only child, I have two step-brothers, and a brother and sister that are not blood related, but have grown up with them so I consider them family. Since the beginning I could remember the snuggly bubble baths that my mom would give me, and even when we were on welfare living in a basement apartment in the Bronx. My whole life I was in speical education classes for a learning disability always being labeled as slow or not able to do anything in life, I was always a good student even despite learning problems. I was the only child for 11 years, and was like many children who didn't live with their Father even though I saw him regularly it wasn't the same as having a father live with you. I could remember crying for my Father when hard or lonely times would come. I was very lonely and misunderstood, as a only child for my mom at the time, she would not let me go outside due to the danger that was around. I attempted sucicide two times with a scissor, and my mom took me to a phycharist, and I would be asked questions, and asked to draw on paper things. I would say things like God hates me, and not even knowing what I meant by that. From there I went to thearpy for 5 years, and I was just depressed, having no friends or close relationships with anyone. Around JR. High school, a friend told me about this radio station, and how I should listen to it, so I did, it was rock, and I would get depressed just sitting in the dark in my room against the wall with no lights, and only the radio on. July 30, 1996 at 12am, my Father came to see me, and say good-bye, because he was moving to Florida, and I remembr that night so clearly as we hugged, and cryed together, and my Father is not an emotional person. Later on around November 2000, I have a argument with my Mother that topped all the arguments we had, and I said I can't take this anymore, and I call my Father in Florida to let him know I want to live with him, and about three weeks later he drives down to New York, and picks me up. I remember that day as I was getting all my belongings in the living room, and about to leave my Mother for the first time ever. She was crying, already feeling the seperation of child. I arrived in Florida, and had no idea what to expect as I was in a new place. I started High School in January 2001 as a feshman, and my step-mother who I was living with told me I was going to church with her, and I went not knowing what was going on their. I met one of the youth their, and he told me about youth service, and invited me to come, so I did, and about two weeks before my 16th birthday in February 2001 I accepting Jesus Christ into my life. Even at that point I struggled with things like cursing, pornography, etc. God had begun to deal with me little by little, a step at a time. Things started to change in my life, and surrounded myself with a diferent group of people. God has done many Awsome things in my life. I prayed that God would bring my Mother here to Florida, and he has, providing a house, and all finances needed. Their's a scripture that says "I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread" , and that is true. I have seen how those trials, and life experiences are preparing me for the next thing. Everything is a process, you learn from the journey that brought you to your destiny or that got you there. This is my testinony. The spirit of God wants to heal you of things in your life or things you might have done in the past, no matter what they are. Their may be anger, offense, or biiterness in your heart, and God wants to heal you from that. Maybe you been through some of the things I've mentioned in my testimony, and you know I went through those things so that someone wouldn't have to go through them... I didn't write this testimony to recieve the praise of men, or so that someone could say good job.... I wanted to share, and expose myself to everyone here on what God has taken me through. You may wonder why God has taken you through many fierce trials or why you have a broken household, God knows what he is doing, learn to say "Lord let your will be done, not mine".... and you know what? Don't give up, you may be living with an unsaved family member, I say to you don't give up, depend on God. When you go through trials it reveals what's really in your heart.

This is my testmony!

A Letter To Satan

A Letter To Satan
Hey Satan!
You really shook me up last night! Having someone go into a Youth Rally and shoot people, that seemed cruel even for you! You almost had me discouraged and disheartened. Almost. Then I started to realize what was really going on.
My main question was why are you attacking Christian Youth?
Then it hit me, fear. You realize that these are the people that will turn the tide of your "battle". You are so afraid because these youth aren't afraid of your conventional weapons. Peer pressure, drugs, fornication, greed are all failing as these kids are standing up and saying "NO! I choose to honor God with my behavior. "
You tried cranking up the heat, making the culture more enticing to them, and they still say "NO!" So you try to use the weapon that works well with adults, fear. That's not working. You killed them in Paducah, KY but still they pray. You shot them because they said yes to Jesus in Littleton, CO and they still choose to walk with God. Now you murder them in Fort Worth, and they will still Worship our awesome God. In case you haven't figured it out yet, it won't work!
Our kids won't cave in to you!! They are going to do exactly what you fear most, they will pray for strength. And God will give it to them! He will give them strength to keep going. They will spark a revival in our nation that will turn millions back to God. Once again, Jesus's love will beat your hate!

Oh and as for trying to make them feel that life is hopeless, that's where I come in. I won't let that happen. I will fight you every step of the way, showing the hope that is the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. You see I know we have not been given a spirit of fear, but God calls us His children, and you don't mess with one of God's kids!

So take your shots and try, but we will not cave, and we're finished being on the defensive. Jesus tells us that the Gates of Hell can't stop us, and we're claiming that promise.
So get ready for the battle of your life. Problem for you is, you have already lost. You lost 2,000 years ago when you tried to kill Jesus. Now the students that you kill are standing with Him no more pain, laughing at you and your feeble attempt at victory.
Please understand, this is no less then a declaration of war.
You may want to give up now, cause our Dad is on our side and Jesus told us that if He is for us nobody can stand against us. So if you desire, we will accept your unconditional surrender, otherwise let's get ready to rumble!
Your sworn enemies forever: Christian Believers
